Brockadale’s butterflies

Brockadale is one of the best places in southern Yorkshire to see butterflies. The warm, sunny south-facing limestone meadows are particularly good places to see crowds of Marbled Whites, our speciality species (above left). With 25 species seen regularly over the last few years, Brockadale is a magnet for butterfly photographers and anyone who just likes to see what the countryside should be like.
